At Graham Construction, we are seeking a skilled Accounts Ledger Specialist to join our finance team. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in maintaining the accuracy and efficiency of our purchase ledger. With a strong focus on attention to detail and organizational skills, you will ensure that all transactions are processed promptly and accurately.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced accounts clerk to develop their skills and contribute to the success of our business. Based in Hillsborough, you will work closely with other functional teams to provide excellent support to our business operations. We are looking for someone with strong numerical skills, solid IT knowledge, particularly MS Excel, and proven experience in using computerized accounting systems. If you have a keen eye for detail and can prioritize tasks effectively, we would love to hear from you.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Maintaining the purchase ledger, ensuring accurate registration of invoices and credit notes
  • Matching invoices with purchase orders and costing invoices
  • Liaising with the procurement department to resolve price and quantity variances
  • Ensuring adherence to month-end deadlines and site accounting processes

Graham Construction offers a competitive salary of £28,000-£32,000 per annum, depending on experience. Our benefits package includes subsidized private medical cover, life assurance scheme, contributory pension, and 35 days annual leave (including public holidays).
