Buckden Partners is a leading firm that has been mandated by our esteemed Challenger Bank client to find an exceptional candidate for the position of Strategic Financial Partnerships Lead. The successful individual will be responsible for covering London, the Home counties, and the southwest region.

The ideal candidate must have:

  • At least 5 years of experience in complex bridging and short-term lending transactions exceeding £5 million.
  • Demonstrated expertise in high-quality asset class knowledge within Real Estate Finance.
  • A strong network of active introducers focused on the mid-market (£5m - £30m) debt space.
  • Effective stakeholder management skills with the ability to build long-lasting relationships.
  • Possess end-to-end knowledge across the customer journey, including origination, deal structuring, deal execution, and ongoing risk management.
  • Excellent credit, financial analysis, and modelling skills, including the ability to create well-structured papers.
  • Experience in analyzing development finance cashflow transactions as a possible exit option.
