About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Store Colleague at our Ilkeston Chalons Way store. As a Store Colleague, you will play a key role in delivering excellent customer service and contributing to the success of our store.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring that customers have a positive shopping experience.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales targets and maintain a high level of store standards.
  • Process transactions accurately and efficiently, handling customer queries and concerns in a professional manner.
  • Contribute to visual merchandising and store displays, ensuring that the store looks appealing and inviting to customers.
  • Participate in stock management, including receiving and processing stock deliveries, and maintaining accurate stock levels.
  • Support colleagues with tasks and duties as required, demonstrating a flexible and team-oriented approach.

Requirements

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and customers.
  • A positive and flexible attitude, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new situations.
  • Basic math skills and accuracy when handling cash and operating a till.
  • Able to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
