About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Housing Officer - Tenancy Services to join our team at Ecruit. As a key member of our tenancy services team, you will play a vital role in delivering excellent customer service to our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a defined geographical area of general needs and sheltered tenancies, providing comprehensive housing and tenancy management services.
  • Process tenancy changes, including successions, left in occupation, and mutual exchanges, ensuring seamless transitions for our residents.
  • Prepare and serve legal paperwork, including notices and court documents, in accordance with tenancy laws and policies.
  • Represent the Council at Court and make referrals to tenancy support and sustainment when necessary, ensuring the best possible outcomes for our residents.
Requirements
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with residents and stakeholders.
  • Experience of working as a Housing Officer in Tenancy Services, with a deep understanding of tenancy laws and policies.
  • Skills and knowledge to deliver an excellent customer service, with a focus on resolving complex issues and providing support to vulnerable residents.
