About the Night Commis Chef Role
The Night Commis Chef is a key member of our culinary team, responsible for supporting the kitchen during night shifts. This role involves learning and practicing various cooking methods, maintaining kitchen hygiene, and assisting senior chefs with meal preparation and service.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior chefs with meal preparation and service during night time hours
- Learn and practice various cooking methods under the supervision of senior chefs
- Maintain kitchen hygiene by regularly cleaning and sanitizing kitchen tools, utensils, and equipment
- Help receive, check, and store deliveries of fresh food and supplies
- Observe and participate in different sections of the kitchen during night shifts to gain comprehensive knowledge and experience
About You
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual with a strong willingness to learn and support the kitchen team. Proven experience in culinary operations is a plus, and a commitment to following food safety and hygiene standards is essential.
