About the Role
The Night Commis Chef will be responsible for assisting the culinary team in the preparation and service of meals during night shifts. This role requires a strong willingness to learn and support the kitchen team, with a focus on maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior chefs in meal preparation and service during night time hours.
- Perform tasks as directed by senior chefs, such as Sous Chef or Chef de Partie.
- Help to receive, check, and store deliveries of fresh food and supplies.
- Observe and participate in different sections of the kitchen during night shifts to gain comprehensive knowledge and experience.
Requirements
- Proven experience in culinary operations.
- Strong willingness to learn and support the kitchen team.
- Foundational knowledge of food preparation techniques.
- Commitment to following food safety and hygiene standards.
