About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join our team in the South Coast Region. As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying and acquiring new business opportunities, developing and maintaining relationships with existing customers, and driving sales growth within your allocated territory.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and implement a business plan to maximize sales and deliver excellent customer service and support
  • Prospect for potential new customers and turn this into increased business
  • Cold call as appropriate within your market or geographic area to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities
  • Meet potential clients, growing, maintaining, and leveraging your network
  • Identify potential clients and decision-makers within client companies
  • Research and build relationships with new clients
  • Plan approaches, sales presentations, and pitches
  • Meet yearly and monthly sales targets assigned to you
  • Maintain strong sales administration, including use of CRM (MS Dynamics) to follow up all leads, enquiries, and quotes

Requirements

We are looking for an experienced sales professional with a strong track record of success in business development and customer acquisition. You will have a valid UK driving license and reside on patch within the Hampshire/Dorset area. You will also be using a CRM (dynamics) alongside the usual MS Office products, so computer literacy is essential.
