About the Role:
Sanctuary Personnel Ltd, a leading recruitment agency, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Manager to join our Fostering Team on a permanent basis. As a Registered Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the high-quality provision of fostering services, meeting the expectations of commissioners, customers, and regulatory bodies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the fostering service provision, focusing on the safeguarding and wellbeing of children and young people cared for by the agency.
- Develop and implement a culture of continuous improvement, driving forward necessary change and development in line with the business plan.
- Effectively manage and monitor the Social Work staff team, ensuring maximum individual effort, personal development, team performance, and effective appraisals.
- Assist in updating internal policies and procedures in line with regulations and National Minimum Standards.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest knowledge and awareness of issues relating to Fostering Services/Regulations, utilizing this expertise to benefit the agency.
- Attend child protection, safeguarding meetings, and standards of care meetings as required.
- Participate fully in the inspection and monitoring process of the organisation.
- Undertake any other relevant duties associated with being the Registered Manager of the Independent Fostering Agency.
Requirements:
- A Social Work Qualification or equivalent.
- Understanding, knowledge, and ability to follow guidelines to ensure compliance with Health & Safety at Work, Data Protection, and other statutory requirements.
- Registration with the relevant health professional council/governing body (Social Care England).
