Sanctuary Personnel Ltd is seeking a Registered Manager to join their Fostering Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all services meet the expectations of commissioners, customers, and regulatory bodies. Key responsibilities include having overall sight of the fostering service provision, focusing on the safeguarding and wellbeing of children and young people cared for by the Independent Fostering Agency. The Registered Manager will foster a culture of continuous improvement within the agency and drive forward necessary change and development in line with the business plan. They will also manage and monitor the Social Work staff team effectively, ensuring maximum individual effort, personal development, team performance, and effective appraisals. Additionally, the Registered Manager will assist in updating internal policies and procedures in line with regulations and National Minimum Standards. Requirements for this role include a Social Work Qualification or equivalent, understanding, knowledge, and ability to follow guidelines to ensure compliance with Health & Safety at Work, Data Protection, and other statutory requirements. Registration with the relevant health professional council/governing body (Social Care England) is also required.
