Salary & Benefits

As a Lead Veterinary Nurse at our client's largest 24-hour facility, you can expect a salary between £35,000 and £40,000, dependent on experience.

You will also enjoy generous benefits, including:

  • A 4-day working week (10 hour shifts), rota'd to either Monday to Thursday or Tuesday to Friday
  • An estimated 6.6 weeks annual leave, including bank holidays
  • RCVS and BVNA fees covered

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Deputy Head RVN to join our team at our RCVS-accredited hospital in East London.

This dynamic role will be based at our largest 24-hour facility, where you will be part of a highly skilled team of professionals, many of whom have training in complex cases and specialties such as internal medicine, cardiology, orthopaedics, and soft tissue surgery.

With cutting-edge technology, including a new CT scanner, in-house laboratory, ultrasound, and X-ray facilities, we provide a comprehensive service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

As a Lead Veterinary Nurse, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Deputising for the Head RVN in their absence
  • Providing leadership and guidance to junior veterinary nurses
  • Developing and implementing nursing protocols and procedures
  • Participating in continuing professional development (CPD) activities
  • Contributing to the delivery of excellent patient care
