About the Role
This is a permanent position requiring a Support Worker to provide assistance to a young female with Spinal Muscular Atrophy type 2 at her home in Dartford.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the individual's physical and emotional needs are met, while also promoting independence and dignity.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting with daily living tasks, such as personal care and mobility
- Preparing meals and maintaining a safe and healthy environment
- Providing emotional support and companionship
- Maintaining accurate records of the individual's care and progress
Requirements
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or chronic illnesses
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable transportation and flexibility with scheduling
Salary and Benefits
The salary for this role is £14.00 per hour, paid bi-weekly. The successful candidate will also receive a comprehensive benefits package, including holiday pay, pension scheme, and bespoke training on the client's specific requirements.
