Job Title: Consultant Dermatologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Dermatologist to join our team at King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. As a Consultant Dermatologist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality dermatological care to our patients, working closely with our multidisciplinary team to deliver excellent patient outcomes.

About the Role

This is a part-time position, working 7 Programmed Activities per week. You will be based at Beckenham Beacon, with opportunities to work at other sites within the trust. The successful candidate will join a team of six consultants, a Specialty Doctor, and Clinical Fellow, supported by a team of dermatology nurses and Clinical Nurse Specialists.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality dermatological care to patients, including general dermatology and urgent skin cancer clinics, skin surgery lists, and teledermatology sessions.
  • Work closely with the multidisciplinary team to deliver excellent patient outcomes.
  • Participate in departmental meetings, including weekly skin cancer multidisciplinary team meetings and monthly regional special cases meetings.
  • Contribute to the development of the dermatology service, including clinical research and audit projects.
Person Specification

We are looking for a Consultant Dermatologist with:

Registerable medical qualification.Full MRCP.Experience in all aspects of dermatology, culminating in award of Certificate of Completion of Training by GMC, or award of Certificate of Eligibility for Specialty Registration (CESR) by GMC.Experience in day-to-day organisation of dermatology services in a busy teaching hospital.Familiarity with information technology and general computer skills.What We Offer
