Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dermatologist Consultant to join our team at King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our dermatology department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert dermatological care to patients, including general dermatology and urgent skin cancer clinics
  • Conduct skin surgery and teledermatology sessions
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development of our services
  • Work closely with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care
  • Contribute to the development of our services and participate in quality improvement initiatives
Requirements
  • Registerable medical qualification
  • Name on GMC Dermatology Specialist Register
  • Experience in day-to-day organisation of dermatology services in a busy teaching hospital
  • Familiarity with information technology and general computer skills
  • Familiarity with current structure of UK National Health Service and conversant with recent initiatives and changes
Desirable Qualifications
  • Experience in clinical research
  • Relevant research experience in one or more aspects of dermatology
  • Experience of undergraduate and post-graduate teaching and exam preparation
