Dermatologist Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Dermatologist to join our team at King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dermatological care to our patients and will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to deliver excellent patient outcomes.
About the RoleThe Consultant Dermatologist will be responsible for undertaking general dermatology and urgent skin cancer clinics, as well as participating in a skin surgery list and teledermatology sessions. The appointee will work on a rota with consultant and specialty doctor colleagues to provide inpatient dermatology consults, mostly via teledermatology with some ward visits.
Key Responsibilities- Provide a first-class clinical service to patients
- Work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver excellent patient outcomes
- Undertake all work in accordance with the Trust's procedures and operating policies
- Conduct clinical practice in accordance with contractual requirements and within the parameters of the Trust's service plans
- Maintain the confidence of business plans and development strategies formulated for the specialty, the Care Group or the Trust
- Participate in clinical research and audit activities

RequirementsThe successful candidate will have a registerable medical qualification, full MRCP, and full registration with the GMC. They will also have a wide experience in all aspects of dermatology, culminating in the award of a Certificate of Completion of Training by the GMC, or a Certificate of Eligibility for Specialty Registration (CESR) by the GMC.
