Dermatologist Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Dermatologist to join our team at King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dermatological care to our patients, working closely with our multidisciplinary team to deliver excellent patient outcomes.
About the RoleThe post holder will be based at Beckenham Beacon, with opportunities to work at other sites within the trust. The job plan comprises 7 Programmed Activities, including general dermatology, urgent skin cancer clinics, a surgical list, teledermatology, and participation in departmental meetings. The post also includes participation in a rota providing senior cover of ward referrals during normal working hours.
Key Responsibilities- Provide a first-class clinical service to patients with dermatological conditions
- Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to deliver excellent patient outcomes
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the development of the dermatology service
- Undertake general dermatology and urgent skin cancer clinics, a surgical list, and teledermatology sessions
- Participate in a rota providing senior cover of ward referrals during normal working hours
The successful candidate will have:
Full registration with the GMC and a place on the GMC Dermatology Specialist RegisterWide experience in all aspects of dermatology, culminating in the award of Certificate of Completion of Training by the GMC, or award of Certificate of Eligibility for Specialty Registration (CESR) by the GMCExperience in day-to-day organisation of dermatology services in a busy teaching hospitalFamiliarity with information technology and general computer skillsAbout UsKing's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is one of the UK's largest and busiest teaching trusts, providing a full range of local hospital services across its different sites.
