Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Cleaning Operative to join our team at ABM UK. As a Cleaning Operative, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality cleaning services to our clients' facilities, ensuring a clean and safe environment for all users.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver cleaning services to client facilities, including dust mopping, damp mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, and spot cleaning glass doors/windows.
  • Clean and sanitize lifts, wipe down and remove smudges from mirrors, sweep and mop floors.
  • Empty trash, clean and sanitize fixtures, clean mirrors, clean shower cubicle partition doors/walls, and sweep and mop tile floors.
  • Set up, stock, and maintain cleaning equipment and supplies.
  • Monitor and maintain sanitation and organization of assigned areas.
  • Assist team leaders/supervisors when needed to ensure optimum service to clients.
  • Perform additional duties as needed, within reason.

  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to use own initiative to identify and prioritize tasks.
  • Ability to work alone and as part of a team.
  • Approachable and courteous manner.
  • An understanding of the need for confidentiality and discretion in an active corporate building.
