About the Role:


We are seeking a highly motivated and reliable Cleaning Operative to join our team at Bristol Waste Company. As a Cleaning Operative, you will be responsible for maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene in our facilities. This will involve cleaning floors, sanitizing toilets and sinks, and performing dusting and polishing tasks.


Main Responsibilities:



  • Perform daily cleaning tasks to maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene
  • Sanitize toilets, sinks, and other high-touch areas to prevent the spread of germs and bacteria
  • Dust and polish floors, walls, and other surfaces to maintain a clean and tidy environment
  • Empty waste bins and replace liners to ensure a clean and hygienic environment
  • Operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively to complete tasks efficiently
  • Work collaboratively with the team to maintain a clean and safe working environment
  • Report any safety concerns or issues to the Team Leader

Requirements:



  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Physically fit and able to lift and move equipment
  • Good communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Highly reliable and responsible
