CAMHS Practitioner Role

We are looking for a highly skilled CAMHS Practitioner to join our multidisciplinary team at Swansea Bay University Health Board. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing children and young people presenting in crisis, providing support, advice, and education to hospital staff, and facilitating admission to the Tier 4 CAMHS Unit or AMHS if necessary.
This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team. You will need to be familiar with relevant policies and procedures, including the Mental Health Act, Mental Capacity Act, and Adult Protection policies.
As a key member of our team, you will contribute to the development and implementation of projects aimed at improving mental health services for children and young people.
