Clinical Leadership Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Consultant Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist to lead our clinical team in delivering community CAMHS services at Swansea Bay University Health Board.

About the Role

This is a unique opportunity for an experienced psychiatrist to work closely with community paediatrics, adult mental health services, and local authority partners in Swansea Bay. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering community CAMHS services across Part 1 and Part 2 of the Mental Health (Wales) Measure (2010), as well as providing leadership and guidance to the clinical team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver community CAMHS services across Part 1 and Part 2 of the Mental Health (Wales) Measure (2010)
  • Collaborate with consultant psychiatry colleagues, nurses, psychologists, therapists, and a wider medical workforce
  • Work with Community Paediatrics and Adult Mental Health Services, and with local authority partners Swansea and Neath Port Talbot
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the clinical team
Essential Qualifications and Experience
  • Registered with the GMC
  • Licensed to practice
  • On Specialist Register with GMC as a specialist in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry or eligible for CCT within 6 months of date of interview
Salary and Benefits

The estimated annual salary for this role is £85,000 - £110,000, depending on experience. We offer a range of benefits, including excellent pension scheme, generous annual leave, and opportunities for professional development.
