About the Role

As a Lead Care Practitioner at Barchester Healthcare, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care and support to our residents. This involves leading a team of care staff, providing training and supervision, and delegating tasks on shift. You will also be responsible for administering and ordering medication, reviewing resident care plans, and liaising with healthcare professionals.

Your Responsibilities

  • Leading a team of care staff to deliver exceptional care and support
  • Providing training and supervision to ensure staff are equipped to meet the needs of our residents
  • Delegating tasks on shift to ensure efficient care delivery
  • Administering and ordering medication in accordance with guidelines
  • Reviewing and updating resident care plans to ensure individualised care
  • Liaising with GP's, district nursing teams, and family members to ensure seamless care coordination

About You

We are looking for an experienced Lead Care Practitioner who possesses excellent leadership and communication skills. You should have a strong understanding of person-centred care principles and be able to motivate and inspire your team to deliver exceptional care.
