Aircraft Technical Support Professional

We are currently seeking an Aircraft Technical Support Professional to join our Edinburgh based P-8A Poseidon Base Maintenance team in a permanent full-time position.
In this role, you will be responsible for performing on-aircraft maintenance activities, off-aircraft maintenance, and supporting operational units in industry-specific tasks. You will also be involved in advanced systems troubleshooting and rectification of aircraft and competent modifications.
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- Cert IV in Aeroskills (Avionics) or equivalent issued by a Registered Training Organisation
- High-level aviation airworthiness regulatory knowledge and its applicability in the relevant environment
- Understanding of relevant aircraft maintenance documentation and practices
- Ability to obtain a B level Military Aircraft Maintenance License
- High-level computer skills in Microsoft Office applications
The estimated salary for this position is around $90,000-$120,000 per annum, depending on experience. You must also be eligible for an Australian Government Security Clearance (Negative Vetting 1) and have the capacity to satisfy pre-employment medical screening which may include drug and alcohol testing.
