Night Care Team Leader - Senior Care Assistant

We are seeking an experienced Senior Care Assistant to lead our night care team at Richmond Villages Cheltenham, offering a competitive salary of £12.75 per hour, plus a £500 welcome bonus.

This is a permanent position, requiring 36 hours per week across 3x 12 hour shifts (20:00 - 08:00), including alternative weekends.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of Care Assistants, ensuring high-quality care is delivered to residents, and working closely with the nursing team to achieve excellent clinical outcomes.

  • Day-to-day leadership of a care unit
  • Supporting clinical duties, including administering medications and monitoring vital signs
  • Driving results and promoting a culture of excellence within the team
  • Providing guidance and training to new staff members
  • Building strong relationships with residents, their families, and external partners
  • Assisting residents with personal care needs
