Care Home Deputy Manager Position

About the Role:
- We are seeking a qualified and experienced Deputy Manager to support our Home Manager in carrying out the full duties of the post.
- You will provide temporary relief in the absence of the manager and carry out specific projects within the service or organisation as specified by the Chief Operating Officer/Head of Care Services.
- Your key responsibilities will include leading the Care & Nursing Team on shift, providing clinical leadership, practice development, feedback, and reflection to Registered Nurses and Care Assistants.
- You will work closely with relatives, other agencies, and the Care & Nursing Team to ensure person-centred care plans are in place that put the individual at the centre of all interactions.
Requirements:
- You must be a registered RGN/RMN with a current NMC registration.
- Previous managerial experience of leading a care team in the care of older people or related social care setting is essential.
- You should have evidence of continuing professional development and a working knowledge of the regulatory framework relating to Care Homes.
- Demonstrating the ability to lead, support, and motivate a dedicated care team is crucial for this role.
- You must be able to take responsibility for the safeguarding of older people and commit to ongoing training and development of your team.
