Care Team Supervisor

The Deputy Service Manager at Hft is a critical role that requires a skilled leader to oversee the delivery of high-quality support services to individuals with learning disabilities. This position involves working closely with the Service Manager to ensure the smooth operation of our supported living activities and promoting independence and choice among the people we support. As a Deputy Service Manager, you will be responsible for managing and supervising a team of Support Workers, providing guidance and supervision to ensure exceptional care standards are maintained. A full UK driving licence is essential for this role, as you will need to access various locations.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and direction to a team of Support Workers
- Monitor and maintain high standards of clinical and personal support
- Ensure delivery of key quality and safety priorities
- Collaborate with the Service Manager to ensure seamless service delivery
- Develop and implement strategies to improve care outcomes and quality of life for the people we support
Requirements
- Significant experience in frontline management in learning disabilities services
- Knowledge of legislation and CQC regulations
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management (or willingness to undertake within 18 months)
- Ability to lead and manage people effectively
