About the Role

VanRath, a leading recruitment agency, is seeking an experienced IT Support Officer to join our client's team in Belfast. As an IT Support Officer, you will be responsible for providing general IT support to the organisation's end-users and assisting with maintenance and upgrades of their IT infrastructure.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a range of top 100 Northern Ireland organisations, SMEs, public sector bodies, and health and social care trusts. You will have the chance to develop your skills and experience in IT support and potentially progress to a permanent position.

The role involves working Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm, with occasional shift work and travel to various sites. You will have hybrid working arrangements and flexible hours, depending on the client and demands of the role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide general IT support to the organisation's end-users.
  • Assist with maintenance and upgrades of the IT infrastructure.
  • Deploy and install new software and hardware.
  • Collaborate positively with a wider team of IT professionals.
Requirements
  • Over 1 year of experience in IT support, providing software/hardware support for a range of devices.
  • IT degree or stronger history of IT support experience.
  • Motivated to learn and passionate team player.
What We Offer
  • Competitive salary: £25,000 per annum.
  • Holidays: typically accrued at a rate of 28 days per year, rising up to 37 days with tenure.
  • Pension: 5% employee contribution / 3% employer contribution.
