Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Fluid Power Controls Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing design, development, maintenance, documentation, and troubleshooting for pneumatic, hydraulic, lubrication, and coolant control systems for gear manufacturing machines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop pneumatic and hydraulic control systems for multi-axes gear manufacturing machines
  • Maintain and troubleshoot existing control systems
  • Collaborate with other engineering groups to facilitate a systems engineering approach to machine design
  • Work with proposals and sales to understand customer specifications and applicable safety standards
  • Use Creo for 3D modeling of components and systems
  • Maintain schematic masters and master BOMs for current and legacy machines
  • Provide part specification changes based on customer interactions
  • Interface with assembly methods to apply part coding and documentation
  • Prioritize and address engineering issues in a timely manner
  • Facilitate design reviews, FMEAs, and risk management meetings
  • Participate in process improvement efforts
  • Team with project management and customers to develop ETOs
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field
  • 3-8 years of experience in fluid power engineering or related field
  • Proven ability to communicate technical information effectively
  • Project management skills
  • Proficiency in EPLAN, SAP, Creo, and Microsoft Office
