Job Title: Learning and Development Associate

CLD Recruitment (Leeds) Ltd is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Learning and Development Associate to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and delivering engaging training content to support colleagues across all departments, both in-person and virtually.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver training programs to meet the evolving needs of the firm.
  • Conduct learning needs analyses to identify gaps and opportunities.
  • Lead interactive workshops to foster learning and development across the firm.
  • Oversee the management of content on the Kallidus Learning Management System.
  • Partner with key departments to create continuous learning opportunities.
  • Measure the impact of training initiatives using LMS analytics, surveys, and stakeholder feedback.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrable experience in a Learning and Development role, preferably with exposure to both face-to-face and virtual training environments.
  • Strong communication skills, able to explain complex ideas clearly and engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills, comfortable managing multiple projects and deadlines independently.
  • Growth Mindset: a positive, can-do attitude with a passion for helping others succeed.
  • Technical Proficiency: experience with Learning Management Systems, content creation, and basic troubleshooting.

Desirable Skills:

  • CIPD or equivalent qualifications are beneficial but not essential.
  • Experience supporting the development of apprentices or junior colleagues is beneficial but not essential.
  • Previous experience working remotely or in a hybrid environment.

  • A proactive, self-starter who enjoys managing their own schedule while meeting their responsibilities independently.
  • Someone who thrives on variety, comfortable delivering from their desk one day and leading face-to-face training sessions the next.
  • A person passionate about creating a positive learning culture and eager to influence the firm's overall L&D strategy.
