About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at Tarmac Trading Limited. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for managing the shift maintenance team, ensuring optimal equipment performance and quality, and driving continuous improvement.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the maintenance team to achieve highest efficiency and productivity in plant operations.
  • Oversee all aspects of maintenance activities, including planned preventative maintenance (PPM), defect management, and root cause analysis.
  • Monitor and report on KPIs such as Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and Overall Operations Effectiveness (OOE).
  • Develop and implement effective maintenance plans to minimize downtime and maximize production.
  • Maintain strong relationships with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, and procurement.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in mechanical maintenance or a related field, preferably in a heavy manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, including pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
  • HNC/HND in a relevant discipline or equivalent qualifications.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with ability to motivate and develop team members.
  • Familiarity with CMMS systems and lean methodology.
