We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hospital Pharmacy Team Leader to join our team at Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust. The salary for this role is approximately £32,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience.

About the Job

In this role, you will be responsible for leading and managing the pharmacy team, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver high-quality patient care. You will also be required to participate in training schemes and contribute to the smooth running of the dispensary.

Main Responsibilities:
  • To act as a senior pharmacy technician, providing leadership and guidance to junior staff members.
  • To develop and implement training programs for pharmacy technicians.
  • To participate in trust or regional study days/training schemes where appropriate.
  • To assist in the collation of information for month-end KPI reporting, including CD audit reporting.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • A BTEC or NVQ Level 3 in Pharmacy Services or equivalent.
  • Registration as a Pharmacy Technician with GPhC.
  • The Final Accuracy Checking Pharmacy Technician (ACPT) qualification.
  • Experience working in a hospital pharmacy environment, preferably with experience in team management.
