We are looking for a talented and experienced pharmacy technician leader to join our team at Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of pharmacy technicians, ensuring the safe and efficient purchase of medicines to all pharmacy locations.

About the Role

The pharmacy procurement team at Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust is responsible for purchasing medicines to the value of £130 million per annum. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced pharmacy technician leader to join our team and contribute to this critical function.

Main Responsibilities
  • Leading a team of pharmacy technicians
  • Ensuring the safe and efficient purchase of medicines to all pharmacy locations
  • Developing and implementing policies and procedures to improve patient outcomes
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to achieve shared goals

The ideal candidate will have a GPhC registration, previous experience of leading a team, and demonstrated ability to work under pressure accurately and prioritize routine daily tasks using own initiative.

Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as excellent benefits and opportunities for professional development.
