The Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital NHS Trust (RNOH) is seeking an experienced Pharmacy Technician to join their medicines optimisation clinical services team. As a key member of the multidisciplinary team, you will play an integral part in delivering a high-quality, safe and effective pharmacy service.

The successful candidate will have experience of working in a hospital pharmacy post registration and be willing to work towards Medicines Optimisation training. You will also need to possess excellent communication skills, good interpersonal and IT skills, and be able to work independently as well as in a team in a dynamic Pharmacy department.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • To complete or work towards Accredited Pharmacy Checking Technician qualification.
  • To participate in the training of Pre-registration Pharmacy Technicians and Pharmacists and rotate through specialist work-streams.

The RNOH offers a comprehensive range of neuro-musculoskeletal health care, ranging from acute spinal injury or complex bone tumour to orthopaedic medicine and specialist rehabilitation for chronic back pain sufferers. This broad range of services is unique within the NHS.
