About the Role

As a Data Protection and Freedom of Information Administrator at UCL Eastman Dental Institute, you will be part of a dynamic team responsible for ensuring the university's compliance with the UK GDPR, Freedom of Information Act, and Environmental Information Regulations. Your primary focus will be on providing administrative support to the Data Protection team, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Handle administrative tasks related to data protection and freedom of information, including record-keeping and data management.
  • Provide high-level organizational support to the Data Protection team, ensuring efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to build relationships and ensure effective communication.
  • Work confidentially and proactively under pressure, meeting tight deadlines and maintaining confidentiality.
  • Develop and maintain accurate records, reports, and databases related to data protection and freedom of information.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of GCSE level standard education or equivalent.
  • Experience working in a busy customer-focused environment.
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills, including attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Experience building relationships and collaborating with internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to work confidentially and proactively under pressure.
