About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Saint Francis Hospice. As a Staff Nurse in our Specialist Palliative Care team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to patients with life-limiting illnesses.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide physical, emotional, and spiritual care to patients in accordance with their individual needs and preferences.
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless delivery of care.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans that address the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of patients.
  • Conduct regular assessments and evaluations to ensure the quality and effectiveness of care.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure that care is coordinated and comprehensive.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Registered Nurse Level 1 qualification.
  • ENB 998 or equivalent.
  • Experience working in palliative care or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends.
