About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist / Child and Adolescent Psychotherapist to join our team at Whittington Health NHS Trust. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for delivering evidence-based interventions to children and families in our CAMHS Therapies Team, Schools Team, and Children's Centres.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop treatment plans for children and families presenting with a range of mental health difficulties.
  • Deliver evidence-based interventions, including CBT, Child Psychotherapy, IPT, and Family Therapy, to children and families in our CAMHS Therapies Team, Schools Team, and Children's Centres.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and other agencies to provide a comprehensive service to children and families.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to the development of treatment plans and strategies.
  • Contribute to the development and delivery of training and education programs for staff and other professionals.
Requirements
  • Postgraduate/doctoral level qualification in Clinical Psychology, Family and Systemic Psychotherapy, or Child and Adolescent Psychotherapy.
  • Experience of working with children and families in a mental health setting.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of evidence-based interventions and ability to adapt to changing service needs.
