About the role:

  • Support service users throughout their treatment and recovery journey.
  • Provide screening, assessment, and recovery planning, and refer to relevant services.
  • Reduce drug and alcohol-related harm to service users and the wider community.
  • Promote carer, service user, and community involvement.
  • Advocate for access to partnership services.
  • Support social reintegration and enable service users to lead meaningful lives.
  • Design and deliver group content and materials.
  • Engage in debriefing and evaluations with co-facilitators.
About You:
  • Have a strong understanding of substance misuse issues and experience working in a similar field.
  • Experience working with groups and managing group dynamics.
  • Excellent communication and IT skills.
  • Proactive and able to work independently with strong time management skills.
  • Good working knowledge of mental health interventions and services.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with a wide range of professionals.
  • Ability to manage change and prioritize service user needs.
  • Commitment to information governance processes.
  • Will to learn and contribute to the learning and development of others.
