About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Substance Misuse Recovery Worker to join our team at Tripod Partners. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals struggling with substance misuse to achieve recovery and re-integrate into their communities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive assessments, including asset mapping, to identify individual needs and develop tailored recovery plans.
  • Lead groups and pods, designing and delivering subject matter and materials to support service users in their recovery journey.
  • Engage in debriefing and evaluation sessions with co-facilitators to ensure the effectiveness of our programs.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a seamless service user experience.
About You
  • You have a strong understanding of drug and alcohol issues, with experience working in a related field.
  • You possess excellent group work skills, including the ability to manage dynamics and conflict.
  • You are skilled in Motivational Interviewing and Psycho Social Interventions.
  • You have a qualification in counselling, group-work, or a related field.
  • You are able to work collaboratively with others, prioritizing the needs of service users.
