Care Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Care Co-ordinator/Scheduler to join our team at Home Instead. As a key member of our care team, you will be responsible for coordinating and scheduling care visits for our clients, ensuring that they receive the highest quality of care and support.
Key Responsibilities:- Coordinate and schedule care visits for clients, ensuring that they receive the best possible care and support.
- Work closely with our care team to ensure that all care visits are covered and that our clients receive the highest quality of care.
- Manage client schedules, ensuring that they are matched to their needs and that our care professionals are allocated effectively.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with our care professionals, clients, and their families.
- Manage correspondence, including emails and phone calls, to ensure that all communication is handled efficiently and effectively.
- Maintain accurate records and databases, ensuring that all information is up-to-date and secure.
- Participate in on-call duties, providing support and assistance to our care team as needed.
- Experience of working in a scheduling or care coordinating role within a home care or other relevant environment.
- Good working knowledge of IT systems, including Microsoft Office or Google Suite and CRM software.
- Highly resilient and positive with excellent communication skills.
- Excellent organization and prioritization skills, with the ability to work calmly and accurately under pressure.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities.
- Keen eye for detail and the ability to work accurately under pressure.
- Team player with strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly.
- NVQ level 2 Health and Social Care and willingness to work towards NVQ level 3.
- Experience in coordinating and scheduling within a care environment.
- Being a driver and access to a reliable vehicle is essential for this role.
We offer a competitive salary of £27,000, with additional pay when on call. We also provide a wellness program, including access to healthcare and counselling, as well as exclusive discounts at high street stores and supermarkets.
