Job Title: Care Co-ordinator/Scheduler

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Care Co-ordinator/Scheduler to join our team at Home Instead Isle of Wight. As a key member of our care team, you will be responsible for coordinating and scheduling care visits for our clients, ensuring that they receive the highest quality of care and support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and schedule care visits for clients, ensuring that they are matched with suitable care professionals and that schedules are prepared and managed effectively.
  • Manage client schedules, taking into account travel time, holidays, training, and last-minute cancellations.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with clients and care professionals, ensuring that they are satisfied with the care and support they receive.
  • Work closely with the care team to ensure that new and existing care packages are resourced and scheduled on a timely basis.
  • Manage care professional annual leave, ensuring continuity of service for our clients.
  • Respond to emails and calls, managing correspondence and ensuring that all client and care professional queries are addressed promptly.
  • Attend and complete care visits and introductions as required, ensuring continuity of care for our clients.
Requirements:
  • Experience of working in a scheduling or care coordinating role within a home care or other relevant environment.
  • Good working knowledge of IT systems, including Microsoft Office or Google Suite and CRM software.
  • Highly resilient and positive with excellent communication skills.
  • Excellent organization and prioritization skills, with the ability to work calmly and accurately under pressure.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities.
  • Keen eye for detail and the ability to work accurately under pressure.
  • Team player with strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly.
Qualifications:
  • NVQ level 2 Health and Social Care and willingness to work towards NVQ level 3.
  • Experience in coordinating and scheduling within a care environment.
  • Being a driver and access to a reliable vehicle is essential for this role.
