Freelance Interpreter for Multilingual Services

We are seeking a skilled interpreter to work with our team at Language Empire. As a self-employed interpreter, you will have the opportunity to work with various clients in the public and private sectors, including the NHS, Local Authorities, Police, Probation, and other organizations.
The role involves interpreting for individuals using legal, health, and local government services, as well as checking the non-English speakers understanding after each sentence. You will also have the opportunity to work on conference, consecutive, and public service interpreting.
To be successful in this role, you will need to be fluent in English and another language, have the right to work in the UK, and be aged 21 or over. Formal qualifications such as a Diploma in Public Service Interpreting (DPSI) or a Degree in Translation/Interpreting/Languages are also advantageous.
As a Language Empire interpreter, you will have flexible working hours, the opportunity to work from home, and ongoing support from our dedicated team. We are committed to providing continuous professional development and support to ensure your success in this role.
