At Virtually Connected, we are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to provide mobile X ray and EKG services to various healthcare facilities. This exciting role offers the opportunity to join our team and contribute to delivering high-quality patient care.

About the Job

We estimate the salary for this position to be around $65,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for performing and processing X rays using portable digital or computed radiography equipment. You will also transport and unload equipment from company vehicles and take it into facilities to perform exams ordered by physicians.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform and process X rays using portable digital or computed radiography equipment and submit/transmit them to a Radiologist for interpretation.
  • Transport and unload portable X ray equipment from company provided vehicles and take it into facilities to perform exams ordered by physicians.
  • Perform EKGs (as needed) and transmit them to a Cardiologist for interpretation (if required).
  • Scan exam-related paperwork/billing documents on a daily basis per protocol.
Required Qualifications
  • 1 year of experience in ANY of the following:
  • Meditech RAD Radiology
  • Mammography
  • Radiology
  • Echocardiogram (echo)
  • Electrocardiogram (EKG/ECG)
  • Echocardiography
  • Valid American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
  • Valid Regular Driver License (DL)
