Breast Radiologist

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team in the Department of Diagnostic Imaging at Kent Hospital. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services, including mammography, to patients in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Operate and maintain diagnostic imaging equipment, including mammography machines, to ensure optimal image quality and patient safety.
2. Position patients for imaging procedures, ensuring accurate and comfortable positioning to obtain high-quality images.
3. Assist radiologists with procedures, including contrast injection and film programming, to ensure accurate and timely diagnosis.
4. Prepare and maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to infection control and safety protocols.
5. Communicate effectively with patients, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.

Requirements:

• Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent.
• Minimum one year of experience in diagnostic imaging, preferably in mammography.
• CPR certification and registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
