As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to patients. This includes operating radiographic equipment, processing and evaluating radiographs, and assisting radiologists with procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Operate and maintain radiographic equipment, including the integrated computer system and corresponding hardware.
  2. Process and evaluate radiographs to ensure accurate diagnoses.
  3. Assist radiologists with procedures, including film programming and contrast injection.
  4. Prepare instruments and equipment for procedures using sterile technique.
  5. Position patients to assist radiologists in obtaining optimal images.
  6. Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare team members to ensure smooth exam processes.
  7. Respond to after-hours call backs on an emergency basis.

Requirements:

An Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology and a minimum of one year's job-related experience or equivalent is required. CPR certification and registration from the ARRT are also required.
