About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Network Infrastructure Specialist to join our team at Paragon Banking Group PLC. As a key member of our Infrastructure Support team, you will be responsible for maintaining the network and telephony infrastructure within the Bank.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond promptly to support tickets, queries, and fault reports
  • Support Network projects where required
  • Understand the inner workings of an IT department to effectively triage tickets and queries
  • Ensure all related systems are running and functioning properly
  • Support ongoing projects
  • Develop a wider than normal understanding of the traffic flow between locations and inside and outside of the organisation

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication skills to assist at all levels and convey technical concepts to a non-technical audience
  • Ability to organize and prioritize workload
  • Flexibility to support the business as and when required outside normal business hours
  • Strong technical skills
  • A methodical, step-by-step approach to resolving issues
  • Confidence in supporting Cisco Firepower's, next gen features, DNA, ISE and Wireless first networks
  • Adaptability to do a range of work— sometimes complex and non-routine. in different environments
  • Ability to work under direction, use discretion and determine when to escalate issues
