Program Overview

This comprehensive apprenticeship offers a unique blend of theoretical knowledge and practical experience, allowing you to develop expertise in areas such as electrical, electronic, and control systems. You will work alongside experienced technicians to gain hands-on experience and apply your knowledge in real-world settings.

During the program, you will study towards an Advanced Apprenticeship in Engineering (Mechatronics Maintenance), gaining industry-recognized qualifications and earning a competitive salary of £25,000 - £35,000 per annum.

In addition to your technical skills, you will also develop essential soft skills, including teamwork, problem-solving, and communication.

Key Responsibilities
  • Installation, testing, and commissioning of new automated equipment
  • Fault finding, troubleshooting, and rectification of issues
  • Planned and preventative maintenance activities
  • Modifications and upgrades to existing equipment

You will work on various projects, applying your knowledge and skills to deliver high-quality results and contribute to the success of our team.

Requirements
  • A minimum of 3 GCSEs at Grade C/4 or above (or equivalent): Maths, English, and a science/technology subject
  • Not registered to study on a UK government-funded course ending August 2025 or later
  • 18 years old or older before entering an Amazon building
