About the Role:
The Reliability Maintenance Engineering team at ENGINEERINGUK is fundamental to our operations - they're the ones keeping vital machinery running at all times. You'll help to keep your colleagues safe and prevent machine downtime.
Your Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for proactive and preventative maintenance tasks on a wide range of site equipment. This will include carrying out reactive repairs and fault diagnosis in a live distribution warehouse, using the latest tools to maximise equipment effectiveness. You will also uphold all health and safety policies and practices, support the development and progression of on-site apprentices, and work on continuous improvement projects and roll out best practices across a range of EU sites.
A Day in the Life:
As an RME Technician, you'll be based on-site, so you can respond quickly to any machinery issues. You'll carry out a range of planned preventative maintenance to our sites' equipment to make sure it's working safely. You'll also make suggestions for long-term improvements.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
To succeed in this role, you'll need NVQ Level 3 (or international equivalent) in an engineering discipline or another practical engineering qualification. Relevant experience as a qualified engineer, relevant experience working in mechanical and/or electrical maintenance, and advanced proficiency in the local language verbally and in writing are also essential. We're looking for someone with experience in condition-based monitoring, working with print and apply machines, and fault-finding and maintaining conveyor or automation systems.
