Senior Electrical Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Electrical and Instrumentation Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Western Biomass Operating Company - Tilbury Green Energy. As an integral part of our Engineering and Maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest levels of availability, reliability, and efficiency of our EC&I plant.
In this role, you will undertake practical application and timely diagnosis, fault finding, and scheduled/unscheduled repair and maintenance of the EC&I plant/apparatus and systems. Your attention to detail and ability to work unsupervised will enable you to take responsibility for all maintenance activities, including during dynamic situations.
To succeed in this position, you must have a strong understanding of all HSE aspects, with IOSH Managing Safely preferred. You should also possess a good knowledge and experience of maintaining a biomass or thermal power plant process, permit and safety systems, and CEMS/MCert equipment.
Additionally, you will be required to ensure all planned and reactive maintenance work is completed and updated within the CMMS. You will also need to provide support and input into the site's engineering integrity strategy and asset risk register, for all EC&I assets.
This is a full-time, permanent position, offering a competitive salary of £45,000-£60,000 per annum, depending on experience. If you are a self-motivated individual with exceptional organisational and interpersonal skills, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
