This role offers a unique blend of theoretical knowledge and hands-on experience in the installation, testing, and commissioning of new automated equipment. As part of our RME Mechatronics Apprenticeship Program, you'll gain comprehensive training and work closely with experienced engineers to develop advanced skills.


The ideal candidate should have a genuine passion for engineering and technology, good problem-solving abilities, and the motivation to work both independently and as part of a team. Previous experience is not essential, as comprehensive training will be provided.

To be considered for this role, you must meet certain criteria. Please review the following requirements:

  • You are a UK national, or a non UK national with the right to work in the UK, or an EU national and have settled status in the UK, and have lived in the UK or an EEA, or British overseas territory for 3 years or more prior to commencing the apprenticeship
  • You will be resident of the UK for the entire duration of the program
  • You are not registered to study on a UK government funded course ending August 2025 or later
  • You will be 18 years old or older before entering an Amazon building (September 2025)
  • You have a minimum of 3 GCSEs at Grade C/4 or above (or equivalent): Maths, English and a science/technology subject
