Forklift Engineer Apprentice Opportunity

At Briggs Equipment, we are committed to developing the next generation of engineers. Our 4-year Apprenticeship programme provides a unique opportunity for individuals to gain hands-on experience and theoretical knowledge in the field of Lift Truck and Powered Access Engineering.
The apprentices will work on customer premises and at our workshop locations, completing tasks under supervision and eventually independently. This will enable them to develop their problem-solving skills, learn about mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems, and understand the principles of good customer service.
We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated individuals who have a strong interest in engineering and are willing to learn and develop new skills. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of mathematical concepts, be able to manage their workload effectively, and possess excellent communication skills.
The salary for this position is estimated at £25,000 in Year 4, with annual increments based on satisfactory performance. We also offer a range of benefits, including company uniform and PPE, a brand-new stocked toolbox, float for travel expenses, and access to extensive training through Briggs Academy and OEM partners.
