We are seeking an exceptional Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team at Lancashire & South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Older Adult Community Psychiatry service, you will have the opportunity to make a tangible difference in the lives of our patients.

This is a substantive full-time position with a competitive salary range of £82,096 - £116,967 per annum, depending on your level of experience and qualifications.

About the Role
  • You will provide expert care and treatment to patients referred to the Rapid Intervention and Treatment Team, Community Mental Health Team, and Memory Assessment Service.
  • You will work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care delivery and excellent patient outcomes.
  • You will be responsible for developing and implementing effective treatment plans that cater to the unique needs of our older adult patients.
  • You will participate in the Consultant On Call rota and contribute to the development of our clinical services.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must hold:

  • FRCR or equivalent qualification.
  • Full GMC registration and Licence to Practise.
  • Section 12 approval and Approved Clinician status.
  • Proven expertise in Older Adult Community Psychiatry, with a minimum of 6 months' experience in a similar role.
