The Lancashire & South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team in Lancaster and Morecambe. As a key member of our community mental health team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to older adults with complex mental health needs.

We are offering a competitive salary of £85,000 - £112,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to your base salary, you will also be eligible for a 5% payment of basic salary payable over 2 years.

About the Role

This full-time position involves working closely with our Community Mental Health Team (CMHT), Rapid Intervention and Treatment Team (RITT), and Memory Assessment Service (MAS). You will be responsible for assessing and treating patients referred to these services, as well as developing and implementing effective treatment plans.

  • You will work in partnership with our multidisciplinary team to deliver person-centered care that meets the unique needs of each patient.
  • As a Consultant Psychiatrist, you will provide expert clinical advice and guidance to colleagues and participate in teaching and training activities.
